Stevie Nicks is a very sound/calm Sheltie-girl.  She's larger than the average Sheltie but she's in good shape and not overweight.  Whoever adopts her will want to measure her food at breakfast and dinner to make sure she doesn't become overweight.

Stevie is very loving and incredibly smart.  She's the unhappy result of a divorce in which she and her buddy, Jill (who appears to be a terrier mix of Cairn and Wheaton) lost both their Mom and Dad and their home.  Stevie loves to cuddle and also tries to help me by herding a dog in the backyard who is not listening to me.

She's had some training so she knows what you probably want her to do but she's also got a mind of her own.  Very eager to please she'd be extremely easy to work with.

Stevie is a full Sheltie however she doesn't have the big, fluffy Sheltie coat.  The advantage of this is that there's less shedding and her coat doesn't tangle or mat very easily like a longer coat would.

Stevie is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and in great health.

If you're interested in Stevie Nicks and especially if you'd be interested in adopting both Stevie and her buddy, Jill, please go to our website, www.SheltieRescueUT.org, and fill out our Application for Adoption.  You can also call Barbara at 801-942-4762.  The adoption fee for Stevie is $275.00.
