Kicker, with the brown on his right ear, and Trixie who appears to be all white, are two 12 year old Jack Russell Terriers who have lost their Mom and need a forever home together. As small dogs they are long-lived and they are wonderful companion dogs especially if your nest is empty.
Kicker is an active, well behaved boy who loves to play fetch. He also likes to play with his sister, his toys, and chew on bones, rawhide, and chewable treats. He sits and begs on command. He is housetrained and crate trained. He travels well in the car. He loves to go for walks but does struggle some with heeling. He is friendly and loving with family and friends. He is a terrier so I do not believe he would do well with small pets like birds or rodents. Like all terriers he does consider it his job to guard his home by barking. He is up to date on vaccines and heartworm treatment. He does need to be adopted with his sister Trixie. They will come with their crate and car crate as well as toys and treats and other dog stuff. If you are interested and able to give Kicker and his sister Trixie a loving forever home please contact Bonnie at bkilgannon@centurylink.net.
This is Trixie. She is Kicker’s little sister. She is a 12 yr. old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier who has lived with her brother and their human since she was a puppy. JRTs have nice long lifespans, so Trixie is still in the prime of life, maybe just a bit mellower. Recently, her owner was admitted to a nursing home where she is unable to have her dogs with her, a fact that breaks all of our hearts. Trixie and her human need our help to find her and her brother a new home.
Trixie is a healthy, sweet girl who loves to play with her toys, her brother and chew on rawhide, bones, and other chewable treats. She likes to play fetch and go for walks. She is housetrained and crate trained and also travels well in the car. She loves spending time with family and friends.
