Aidan is a VERY handsome Sheltie boy who came to us in late November. Aidan is estimated to be 7 years of age and is VERY spry. He loves to go on walks and he loves to play with and fetch his toys --- he absolutely LOVES toys!!! And he does this very cute thing when you turn on the vaccum...he picks up a toy and shakes it at the vacuum cleaner. You have to see it to appreciate it. We'll try to get some video.
Since arriving here in late November we've been getting to know Aidan and taking care of some normal medical issues to make sure he's in the best health possible. We've done a Senior Wellness blood panel which also includes a urinalysis and is a very comprehensive test --- all of which came out normal! Yeah!
Aidan was also neutered, got a dental done, heartworm tested, wormed, microchipped, bathed, vaccinated, and loved!
Aidan appears to have come from a home where possibly his owner was in poor health and may have passed away. We are guessing this from the state in which Aidan arrived here. He was very dirty, underweight at only 19 lbs (he is now 24lbs), and of course, frightened because he landed in not one, but two different shelters, before coming to Sheltie Rescue.
Aidan's coat is dry but with a quality kibble that should come around very naturally.
