I am very frightened of people and need a special Mom.

Allie is a very sweet but frightened 7 year old girl.  Allie needs a quiet home.  She would do very well with one or more females who are patient and willing to work with her to help her get past her fears.  Allie does not do well with men.  Allie was left in a crate for most of her first 6 years of life which is why she is very poorly socialized, unused to being handled (but enjoys laying in your lap or next to you) and does come around with slow, gentle, quiet one-on-one work and attention.  If you want that very special bond that comes from earning the trust of a beautiful little Sheltie-girl who wants to find the Mom she needs please think about adopting Allie because she needs you. 
Allie currently sleeps in our bedroom and that's where she should be in her forever home.  Allie will "yell" at me if it's time for dinner and she thinks I'm walking in the wrong direction and not towards the food room where we feed all the dogs (in their individual crates).
Allie is spayed, has had comprehensive blood panels done, is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and is free of heartworm.
