Hank is a very handsome and playful baby boy who'd really love a family to be his forever family. Hank weighs in at around 48 lbs I believe. As he matures he'll probably weigh a bit more. He's a very slender guy partly because he's a growing baby. Hank was on the verge of being euthanized when we collaborated with other rescue people to save him. His personality is that wonderful that it brought us together to save him. Hank is very, very intelligent and shows a lot of herding dog characteristics. He has a very cute face that most people respond to very positively right away. Hank's initial response to people he doesn't know is to bark - a very loud bark. To those who don't know how loving and friendly he is, his bark might be scary. Whoever adopts Hank will have the most fun with him if you sign up for a beginning dog training class asap. Some of Hank's current fans think he has potential to be a very successful agility dog. After Hank gets over his initial bouncy greetings he's happy to settle down and loves to cuddle. He thinks he's a little dog and would love to cuddle in your lap. He loves to have his tummy rubbed! Hank is such a good boy that even though he doesn't particularly like to go into the car, he will do it when I ask him to. He tried to ride in my lap while I was driving. A doggie safety belt for the car will help you keep him out of your lap. He did drool a little while riding in the car. Mostly he just wanted to be near me so he could feel more secure and less afraid. With his forever family and a little more experience with fun rides in the car with people who love him I think Hank will adapt fairly well to car rides.

More about Hank

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Special Needs: No special needs except for those that every baby has --- more patience and lots of love. Young dogs have a tendency to explore the world with their mouth and will pick up items that aren't dog toys and clothing that belongs to the people they love.
